Bills itself as ‘A neighborhood kitchen thrift store’, but wow, this place has some incredible pre-loved gems from every era. It’s owned by the chef where the Ceremony will be held. It’s pretty special. (If you arrive at the Ceremony venue early, feel free to check it out, it’s literally right next door!)
Harold’s Indoor/Outdoor Plants
Near the house and they’ll do special orders. We’re currently in the market for some trees/bushes/some solid TLC to create a sense of place at the front of the house as well as in our backyard.

A local gift & woodcarver’s shop with a huge selection of New Orleans-y home entertainment goods. Coasters, oven mitts, cutting boards - things we love but don’t always get around to buying for ourselves.

Turkish Rugs
We are on the hunt for juuuust the right vintage pieces to find their way to our house…and are hoping some gem will turn up on Facebook Marketplace or in a few of the home goods shops we frequent.
Bargeboard
Bargeboard began as a historic home restoration hub in Old Algiers (across the river), and has evolved into a place to buy/make/find/refurbish just about any kind of old Nola home relic you can think of: fireplace mantels, antique cypress doors, chandeliers - all the way down to linens & old glassware. The founder is an incredible lady, and they throw neighborhood concerts on Wednesdays - it’s worth a wander if you have time!
